According to the previous article, a team of scientists accidentally discovered a region of the hypothalamus ( which is the region that is at the top of the brain stem beneath all the useful cerebellum) which when stimulated brought back memories for patients. This is being tested on 6 Alzheimer’s patients and so far it is showing some positive results. Also according to the article 1 in 3 people over 65 die of dementia, I sure hope when I get to 65 they have some sort of cure for it. Lets all keep our hands crossed.
